Faculty of Pharmacy in the University of Karbala,held a seminar entitled    (Safety in laboratories)

   Which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Talaat Abbas and the lecture was given by Dr. Abdul Bari Mahdi. The seminar included the definition of safety procedures in the laboratory and classification of materials in terms of seriousness as well as how to get rid of materials after use and how to destroy them in safe ways. The lecture also included how to use ventilation systems in reducing pollution within the laboratory.

The lecture aimed to keep the safety of professors and students who work in laboratories

and explained them the instructions in order to avoid accidents such as fire and how to deal with dangerous situations inside the laboratory

It also aims to introduce safety procedures such as wearing gloves and glasses to avoid contact or access harmful substances into the body

  The seminar addressed the subject of good training for workers inside the laboratory to ensure safety as well as to obtain the correct results on time.
