Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society / Karbala holy branch organized a workshop about the first aid ,and the Red Crescent team led by the first ambulance instructor Samer Nizar Abdel-Aziz theoretical and practical lectures explaining how to emergence cases such as suffocation, Drowning and other cases.

The workshop aimed to spread the culture of first aid in

the field of education within universities and how to intervenefor situations faced them. This came under the patronage of the Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Khezali, who seeks through this workshop to develop the skills of the faculty members and students in the field of first aid.The dissemination of basic health care and first aid concepts is closely related to the health culture of all members of the community as a special skill in everyday life.
