College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala participated in the exhibition of innovations and scientific products, with the participation of a number of university faculties, which was held in the halls of physical education and sports sciences, and in the presence of the Governor of Karbala, Mr. Nussaisf Jassim al-Khattabi, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi and the assistant president of the university, as well as the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacythe President of Karbala University, Prof Dr. Ahmed Salih Sahib Al Khezaly , as well as the deans of other university faculties, and the exhibition included the researchers’ presentation of their innovations and scientific products.
The Faculty of Pharmacy was represented by the lecturers Dr. Jalal Hassan Abu Taheen, who obtained a patent as a result of his preparation of new compounds that prevent the corrosion of metals, as well as the preparation of antioxidant derivatives through environmentally friendly green chemistry and a high product with very good results. The Faculty of Pharmacy also represented the lecturer Muthanna Jawad. Abdul-Hussein, where he manufactured a substance in the form of powder and paste used to clean, remove teeth pigmentation, whiten and polish them without affecting the enamel layer, and it can be applied in dental laboratories as well as in dental clinics.
From another side, the President of Karbala University praised the products of researchers and innovators for supporting the creative and innovative Iraqi researcher by providing the opportunity to display his innovations, view them, benefit from them and invest them practically.
