The Dean of the College of Pharmacy participates in the Grand National Competition organized by Al-Husseini Holy Shrine

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Rasool, participated alongside the Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the College, Assistant Lecturer Hussein Ali Qabil, and the Rapporteur of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Assistant Lecturer Durgham Hani Kazem, in the closing ceremony of the Grand National Competition “A Nation Reads”. The competition was organized by Al-Husseini Holy Shrine in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry of Education, in the presence of the legal guardian of Al-Husseini Holy Shrine, the Governor of Karbala, and a number of religious, educational, and academic figures.

The competition was marked by the participation of a large number of students from various educational directorates across Iraq, competing for the competition’s awards. In his speech, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority emphasized the importance of reading in building a society that respects order, science, and knowledge.

It is noteworthy that the “A Nation Reads” competition is a sustainable national cultural project aimed at encouraging members of society to continue creative and purposeful reading, which enables them to acquire and apply knowledge in various aspects of life.
