The College of Pharmacy Organizes a Volunteer Initiative to Support Al-Urwa Al-Wuthqa Primary School Students
Staff from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala organized a volunteer initiative to purchase and distribute bags, stationery, and school supplies to students of Al-Urwa Al-Wuthqa Girls’ Primary School in the Fareeha area, which has a large number of orphaned and underprivileged children. This initiative aims to bring joy to the children’s hearts and provide moral support to them.
Dr. Wafaa Fawzi, the supervisor of the initiative, explained that this activity was carried out in cooperation with several faculty members and is part of a series of volunteer initiatives aimed at supporting orphaned and needy children. She added, “We are committed to continuing humanitarian initiatives that serve various segments of society.”
School officials praised the initiative, appreciating the efforts of the College of Pharmacy in supporting orphaned and underprivileged children, which has a positive impact on the children’s morale and contributes to improving their academic performance.
