The Ministry of Higher Education Announces the Reopening of Elite Channel Applications

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the reopening of applications for the Elite Student Channel in public universities for the academic year 2024/2025.

In accordance with the approved guidelines, eligible applicants are third-round graduates of the preparatory school for the academic year 2023/2024 with an average of 90% or higher in the scientific, biological, applied, and literary branches. Applications can be made to the following colleges:
• Colleges of Administration and Economics, specifically in the departments of Business Administration, Statistics, Public Administration, Industrial Management, Accounting, Economics, and Banking and Financial Sciences.
• Colleges of Law.
• Colleges of Education and Basic Education.

Students may apply to universities located in the governorate of their residence.

Additionally, graduates from all governorates in the scientific, biological, and applied branches with an average of 92% or higher may apply to the Industrial Management of Oil and Gas program at the University of Basra for Oil and Gas.

The Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up clarified that applications to this channel will remain open until the end of the official working hours on Tuesday, 26 November 2024. Application procedures start with students submitting their preferences via the electronic form on the Studies Portal (www.dirasat-gate.org), followed by an interview and test at any public university within their residential governorate.
