President of University of Kerbala Visits Kerbala Center for Studies and Research, Emphasizing the Importance of Collaboration with Scientific Institutions
The President of University of Kerbala Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, visited the Kerbala Center for Studies and Research, which is affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, to discuss the mechanisms of collaboration in scientific and research fields.
The President emphasized the importance of engaging with scientific institutions to achieve shared goals, expressing the university’s readiness to cooperate with academic entities through organizing joint conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Dr. Ali also highlighted the need to expand the study of scientific disciplines to meet the diverse demands of the labor market.
In turn, the Director of the Kerbala Center for Studies and Research, Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, praised Kerbala University’s role in fostering academic openness both locally and internationally. He pointed out the importance of conducting studies on the city’s history from scientific, religious, and economic perspectives.
Al-Quraishi added, “The success of the center is largely due to its academic foundation, particularly the expertise and academic standing of Kerbala University.”
