The College of Pharmacy Organizes a Scientific Workshop on ELISA Technology
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific workshop titled “ELISA Diagnostic Technique”, targeting first-year students of the college.
The workshop was conducted by Assistant Lecturers Haneen Saeed Mohsen, Saja Haider Fadhil, and Hams Ahmed Shihab. It focused on two main themes: the first covered the steps involved in performing the ELISA technique and distinguishing between its various types, while the second elaborated on the laboratory equipment and materials required to execute the technique successfully.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills and encourage them to understand ELISA, which is one of the most important diagnostic laboratory techniques. This method is renowned for its ability to diagnose viral, bacterial, and parasitic diseases, detect cancer, measure hormone levels, and perform numerous other medical tests.
