College of Pharmacy Participates in the University Art Festival

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and with the support of the presidency of Kerbala University, Zainab Asaad, a student from the College of Pharmacy, represented the university in the University Art Festival. The event was organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf from December 1 to 5, 2024, with the participation of more than 50 governmental and private Iraqi universities.

This participation was supervised by the Arts and Cultural Activities Unit, represented by Assistant Lecturer Hams Ahmed Al-Jandil, who coordinated with a group of university students from various colleges to showcase their artistic works.

Despite the participation of universities specialized in fine arts, Kerbala University secured sixth place thanks to the collaborative efforts of students and faculty, highlighting the university’s excellence in fostering student creativity and developing artistic skills.

The festival’s contributions included artistic paintings, handcrafted works, individual drawings, and creative themes that reflected a spirit of collaboration and perseverance, resulting in this remarkable achievement.
