Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Kerbala Organizes a Seminar on Combating Violence Against Women

The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the Center for Strategic Studies, organized an awareness seminar on addressing violence against women in the workplace.

The seminar explored various forms of workplace violence women may face, including sexual harassment, discrimination, insults, and threats. It also discussed the key causes of such violence and strategies to counter it, whether through legislation or societal awareness.

The seminar emphasized the need to improve workplace environments for women and highlighted the importance of enhancing their legal and rights-based awareness.
