PhD Dissertation at University of Karbala Explores Judicial Administration in Iraqi Legislation
A PhD dissertation at the College of Law, University of Karbala, examined judicial administration in Iraqi legislation, focusing on the Martyrs Foundation Law as a model. The research was conducted by Israa Fadel Habib.
The study aimed to develop a general understanding of committees with judicial authority, their specialization, and the legal framework and procedures they follow to issue decisions. Additionally, it sought to distinguish between courts and their judicial jurisdiction and the committees that have assumed certain aspects of general judicial authority.
The research concluded that the concept of judicial administration in its modern sense is closely tied to the administrative history of France. It also highlighted the difficulty in defining judicial administration from a legislative perspective due to the diverse reasons for its emergence and the specific issues it addresses.
