University of Kerbala Launches a Pioneering Project to Develop Fish Farming

The College of Agriculture at the University of Kerbala has announced the launch of a project to establish intensive fish farming ponds within the Department of Animal Production.

The project is being carried out under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein, and the Head of the Department of Animal Production, Dr. Muhannad Fadhel Hussein.

The initiative aims to enhance fish farming techniques and boost productivity by providing an ideal environment for scientific research.

It also seeks to support national efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in fish production and advance the aquaculture sector in alignment with the needs of the local market.
