University of Kerbala Organizes Scientific Seminar on Women’s Role and Responsibilities in the Words of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him)
The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala held a scientific seminar titled “Women’s Role and Responsibilities in the Words of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him).” The seminar was delivered by Dr. Noor Hussein Al-Rashdi.
The seminar discussed the portrayal of women in the words, speeches, and wisdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), exploring his perspectives on their roles and responsibilities.

• Women in the Holy Quran.
• The Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him and his family) advice regarding women.
• The insights of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on women’s roles and virtues.
The seminar concluded that, according to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), women’s responsibilities encompass their familial roles as mothers and wives, as well as their societal contributions as active members shaping moral values. The importance of maintaining a balance between these roles was emphasized.
