University of Kerbala Organizes Training Course on DNA Amplification (PCR)

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala conducted a training course on the DNA amplification technique (PCR). The course was led by Dr. Haider Ali Mohammed.

The course aimed to enhance the scientific knowledge and practical skills of postgraduate students in applying this vital technique. It also focused on empowering young researchers and strengthening their contributions to the veterinary field.

The training emphasized the use of PCR to detect the gene responsible for encoding mitochondria (the powerhouses of cells) in hydatid cyst parasites isolated from sheep.
