The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar titled “Language and Thought: The Debate of Priority and Influence” with lectures delivered by Dr. Rafel Hassan Al-Taie and Dr. Abbas Ubaid Al-Ameri.

The seminar aimed to explore key research references in one of the significant debates of modern linguistic and cognitive studies, which builds on previous contributions from linguists and psychologists.

The seminar covered several topics, including an introductory overview of the nature of the relationship between language and thought, along with a presentation of prominent philosophical and anthropological theories on the subject.
