A doctoral thesis at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala, titled “Personification in Umayyad Poetry (41 AH – 132 AH),” was presented by student Ali Hussein Shadhan.

The significance of the study lies in uncovering the phenomenon of personification in Umayyad poetry, identifying and analyzing it, and highlighting the creative aspects within the literary text. The study also emphasized the artistic and intellectual phenomena present in Umayyad poetry.
