Master’s Thesis at University of Kerbala Discusses Aspects of Lexical Facilitation
A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Kerbala, titled “Aspects of Lexical Facilitation in Al-Abab Al-Zakher and Al-Lubab Al-Fakher by Al-Saghani (d. 650 AH),” was presented by student Abeer Aqeel Khudair.
The significance of the thesis lies in the study of Arabic lexicons, which is one of the most important research areas that has received considerable attention from scholars and researchers throughout history. These studies focus on analyzing the structure of individual words from various aspects.
The study consisted of three chapters. The first chapter explored the facilitation methodology in Al-Abab Al-Zakher and Al-Lubab Al-Fakher, the second chapter examined the foundations of lexical facilitation in the dictionary, and the third chapter discussed the merits and criticisms recorded on Al-Abab Al-Zakher and Al-Lubab Al-Fakher.
