The College of Pharmacy Welcomes Nursing Students to Explore the Animal House

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala welcomed a group of students and faculty members from the College of Nursing for a visit to the Animal House affiliated with the College of Pharmacy. The visit aimed to introduce them to the methods of breeding, reproduction, and care of laboratory animals.

Assistant Professor Mazin Hamed Ouda, the head of the Animal House, delivered a scientific lecture to the students and their supervisors. The lecture provided a brief overview of zoonotic diseases and the significance of laboratory animals in scientific experiments and research. The session was well received, as it provided valuable practical insights into working with laboratory animals.

Following the lecture, the students conducted a field visit to the Animal House, where they listened to explanations about handling and breeding laboratory animals. At the end of the visit, the attendees and faculty members from the College of Nursing expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the College of Pharmacy in supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate students by providing them with the opportunity to conduct their research in the Animal House, contributing to the advancement of scientific studies.
