The College of Pharmacy Organizes a Campaign in Preparation for Greening the College Gardens

Under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Rasool, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala, and in conjunction with the arrival of spring, the Agricultural Unit, in collaboration with the Artistic and Cultural Activities Unit, organized a campaign to collect various medicinal plants and flowers in preparation for greening the college gardens.

The initiative includes planting a variety of medicinal plants such as rosemary, lavender, hibiscus, and aromatic herbs, along with ornamental, perennial, and seasonal plants.

This campaign coincides with National Tree Planting Day, which aims to raise awareness about environmental conservation and educate on the vital role of trees and plants in improving the ecosystem. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the college gardens, expand green spaces, and promote sustainable development within the college.
