University of Kerbala Signs a Cooperation Agreement with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research
The Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Kerbala, Dr. Salam Jaafar Al-Asadi, signed a cooperation agreement with the Director of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi. The agreement aims to strengthen academic and research efforts to develop religious tourism in Holy Karbala and enhance the quality of its services.
The agreement focuses on achieving strategic objectives, including fostering academic and research partnerships in various fields such as student training and developing strategic plans for the tourism sector. It also includes implementing joint educational and training programs to enhance the skills of professionals working in the field.
Additionally, the memorandum emphasizes the role of religious tourism in supporting the city’s economic and social development by improving the visitor experience and enhancing service infrastructure.
