A student at the College of Pharmacy gets first place at the level of  Iraq in the first national competition for memorizing the Noble Qur’an  and refining it for Iraqi university students

The student (Tabarak Abdul Rahman Nasser) (third stage) from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala won the first place at the level of Iraq within the national competition for Iraqi university students to memorize the holy Qur’an and intonation , which was held at the Islamic University of Najaf and with the participation of fifteen (15) Iraqi universities In the presence of representatives of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, the Municipality of Kufa Mosque, a number of academics and a large number of participations. This competition is the first of its kind in Iraq
The student who won first place received several prizes, including three precious gold bars, a medal and a certificate of appreciation from the Islamic University for the winning female students who qualified to participate in the competition that will be held on the day of Eid al-Ghadir al-Aghar in the city of Mashhad in Iran in cooperation with Al-Zahra Women’s University in Tehran
On the sidelines of the competition, the Islamic University presented a medal of creativity and a certificate appreciation presented to the Presidency of Karbala University and the College of Pharmacy for their distinguished participation in the competition.
It is noteworthy that the student in the College of Pharmacy represented the University of Karbala and won the first place in the competition, while the University of Basra got the second place, and the College of Imam Al-Kadhim / Babylon got the third place.
