University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis on Human Robot Interaction Decision Making Based on Group Emotion Detection

College of Computer Science and Information Technology / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled Human Robot Interaction Decision Making Based on Group Emotion Detection.

The study, presented by Ali Hussein Musa, aims at developing ( Attention CNN) model for recognizing emotions, and presenting a new method for identifying individuals’ emotions.

The study finds out the possibility of developing an effective Attention CNN model to recognize emotions with high accuracy, and proposes a new method for identifying individuals’ emotions based on distribution of emotions, size of faces, and their proximity to the robot.

The study recommends the necessity of using a diverse and carefully prepared data set to train future models, and identifies aspects of expected limitations and challenges, including video data quality and environments with interactive dynamics.
