College of Science / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled “Preparation of Titanium Dioxide Doped with Gold Nanoparticles as Photocatalysts”.
The study, presented by Rasha Jameel Neamah / Department of Physics. It aims at preparing pure titanium and titanium inlaid with gold in different proportions.
The study concludes that performance of gold-doped titanium as a photocatalyst for dye decomposition is better than pure titanium.
The study recommends the necessity of studying the effect of acidity and temperature used during annealing.
