With the continuous advancement of technology, the use of artificial intelligence in various fields has become increasingly widespread. In the field of pharmacy, AI has the potential to revolutionize decision-making processes and transform the search for better medications. By leveraging AI algorithms and data management, the pharmaceutical industry can improve drug discovery, reduce research and development costs, increase the success rate of clinical trials, and ultimately create more effective and safer medicines for patients (Mak KK et al., 2020). AI in Pharmacy: Unlocking the Potential AI can analyze massive amounts of data in a fraction of the time it would take a human researcher. This can lead to the identification of new drug targets and potential interactions that may have been overlooked using traditional methods. Additionally, AI can also help in predicting adverse drug reactions and personalizing treatment plans based on individual patient data, ultimately leading to more efficient and targeted therapies (Raza et al., 2022). Globally, obesity looks to be becoming more common, which is alarming. AI tools provide the ability to forecast obesity, identify genetic risk variations, and determine the association between obesity-related illnesses, while current treatment tactics are associated with several limitations. Fuzzy logic models have been utilized to enhance patient quality of life, prevent obesity or lower its mortality and morbidity, and better understand the origins of the condition (Hassanzadeh et al.,2019). Furthermore, the application of AI in pharmacy extends to improving medication management and pharmaceutical supply chains. AI-powered systems can optimize inventory levels, anticipate demand, and streamline distribution processes, ensuring that essential medications are readily available to patients. As the pharmaceutical industry continues to embrace and integrate AI technologies, pharmacists and healthcare professionals need to stay updated with the latest advancements to harness the full potential of AI in enhancing patient care and drug development. The integration of AI in pharmacy also holds promise for enhancing patient care through telepharmacy and remote monitoring. AI-powered systems can analyze patient data in real time, enabling pharmacists to remotely monitor medication adherence, identify potential drug interactions, and provide personalized recommendations to patients, especially those in rural or underserved areas (Dentzer, 2019). Moreover, as AI continues to evolve, its potential to facilitate precision medicine through genetic analysis and personalized drug therapies is increasingly recognized. By analyzing vast datasets of genetic information and clinical outcomes, AI can contribute to identifying genetic markers for drug response, thereby enabling the development of tailored treatment regimens for individual patients. In order to fully leverage the potential of AI in pharmacy, it is crucial for pharmacists and healthcare professionals to engage in continuous education and training to effectively integrate AI tools into their practice. This will ensure that AI serves as a tool to empower pharmacists to deliver high-quality, personalized care and drive innovation in the pharmaceutical industry (Agrawal P et al., 2018). Modern AI techniques are demonstrating the capacity to resolve issues that were formerly thought to be insurmountable. The group created algorithms that can distinguish between normal and sick profiles in complicated data and restore missing characteristics from datasets that are only partially complete. For example, to use an AI system to distinguish between cardiac-toxic and non-cardiotoxic medications in the anticancer category (Manikiran and Prasanthi,2019). The integration of AI in pharmacy has the potential to revolutionize the way pharmacists and healthcare professionals interact with technology to provide patient care. With the advancements in AI, pharmacists can harness the power of predictive analytics to identify potential drug interactions and provide personalized recommendations to patients, especially those in rural or underserved areas. This can significantly enhance the quality of patient care by enabling remote monitoring of medication adherence and ensuring timely intervention when necessary. Additionally, AI’s ability to analyze vast datasets of genetic information can contribute to the development of tailored treatment regimens for individual patients, thus facilitating precision medicine (Nelson et al., 2020). AI also has the potential to stimulate the development of substantially novel medicinal compounds for ideal/desired properties. To synthesize in silico compounds and execute virtual screening modeling, which replaces many biochemical and biological tests to assess efficacy and toxicity profiles, de novo design requires a grasp of organic chemistry (Das S et al.,2021). In conclusion, AI has the potential to revolutionize pharmacy practice and improve patient care in various ways. the integration of artificial intelligence in the field of pharmacy presents a multitude of opportunities to enhance patient care, optimize drug development, and revolutionize decision-making processes. By leveraging AI algorithms and data management, the pharmaceutical industry can drive innovation, improve medication management, and personalize treatment plans based on individual patient data. The potential of AI to facilitate precision medicine through genetic analysis and personalized drug therapies is also increasingly recognized, promising tailored treatment regimens for individual patients.
