Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research won the 1st score in the general ranking of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for volunteer initiatives in Iraq. 
Higher Education reviewed obtained first place for volunteer initiatives and activities in 17 humanitarian fields.
Higher Education highlighted that topics of the report included volunteer initiatives and activities and their fields, volunteer initiatives, the environment of the Governorates in which volunteer work was carried out and the groups benefiting from the initiative.
Higher Education also reviewed that the report recommended including the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research among three Ministries to the membership of the Permanent Committee for Volunteer Work for (2023-2024).

It is worth to be mentioned that the second annual report on the volunteer initiatives achieved by the Ministries for 2023 issued by the Directorate of Government Coordination and Citizen Affairs in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
