College of Dentistry / University of Kerbala has organized a course on enhancing culture of participation in decision-making process, with participation of a group of college members.

The course, which is one of components of National Strategy for Education 2022-2031, lectured by Asst. Lect. Haider Nihad Abdul Hamid.

The course aims at encouraging culture of participation in decision-making to create a more efficient academic work environment in achieving goals and improving quality of services provided to students.

The course includes explaining the concept of participation and teamwork in decision-making and its benefits, how to motivate the most hesitant individuals to participate, and how to deal with resistance of some individuals to participation and teamwork.

The course recommends the necessity of activating culture of participation because of its role in building trust and enhancing the sense of belonging to academic institution, as well as supporting cooperation and solidarity among members.
