A Voluntary Tree-Planting Campaign at the College of Pharmacy with the Participation of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs and the College Dean
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala organized a voluntary tree-planting campaign, with the participation of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Rasool, and the Administrative Affairs Associate Dean, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abbas Rokan, alongside a group of students.
The campaign was marked by active participation, with the Assistant President, the Dean, and the Associate Dean planting trees themselves, demonstrating their support for environmental initiatives and emphasizing the importance of teamwork between students and the college. The tree planting was supervised by Mrs. Najat Raouf Mohammed, head of the Agricultural Unit, along with staff members from the unit, who helped organize the event and guide the efforts.
This campaign is part of a series of voluntary activities organized by the college to promote environmental awareness and contribute to increasing green spaces at the university. It also aims to involve students in environmental work and foster a sense of social responsibility, positively impacting both the environment and the academic community.
