A Workshop at the College of Pharmacy Discusses the Role of Women in the Tourism Sector

The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Kerbala, organized a workshop on the role of women in the tourism sector. The workshop was led by Assistant Lecturer Afrah Sillal Hayool and Assistant Lecturer Faraqad Abdul Redha. It discussed the importance of women’s participation in various fields of tourism and supporting female entrepreneurship.

The workshop also highlighted the role of women in promoting local culture and heritage through tourism. Additionally, it addressed the challenges faced by women working in the tourism sector and discussed women’s role in promoting sustainable tourism and environmental protection.
