The Ministry of Higher Education Announces the Reopening of Applications for the Elite Student Admission Channel
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the reopening of applications for the Elite Student Admission Channel in public universities for the 2024/2025 academic year to provide an opportunity for interested students.
In accordance with the established regulations, eligible applicants are high school graduates from the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic years with an average score of 90% or higher. This applies to graduates from the scientific, biological, applied, and literary branches, allowing them to apply to the Colleges of Administration and Economics (within departments such as Business Administration, Statistics, Public Administration, Industrial Management, Accounting, Economics, and Financial and Banking Sciences) as well as Colleges of Law, Education, and Basic Education in universities within their home governorate.
All eligible students from across the governorates who graduated from the scientific, biological, and applied branches can also apply to the Industrial Management for Oil and Gas program at Basra University for Oil and Gas, provided their average is no less than 92%.
The Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-Up clarifies that applications for this channel will remain open until the end of the official working hours on Monday, November 4, 2024. The application process starts with students submitting their choices via the electronic form on the studies portal (www.dirasat-gate.org), followed by an interview and examination at any public university within their home governorate.
