Minister of Higher Education Welcomes the Head of the Iraqi Media Network

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, welcomed the Head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hamadi, along with his accompanying delegation.

The Minister expressed his appreciation for the level of collaboration between academic institutions and the Iraqi Media Network, commending its professional role in covering local, regional, and global events and achievements related to governmental institutions and public services. He emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has, over two years of strategic academic work, accomplished comprehensive modernization of the higher education system, including the adoption of the Bologna Process, which aligns with the European Higher Education Area. This modernization also includes advancing digital infrastructure within universities, improving the quality of academic programs to meet global standards, enhancing the global ranking of Iraqi universities, achieving recognition from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) for the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq, and attracting international students through the “Study in Iraq” program.

In response, the Head of the Iraqi Media Network, along with his delegation, which included the Director of the Iraqi News Agency, expressed their appreciation for the specialized services provided by the Ministry of Higher Education and its universities in enriching societal awareness and addressing the community’s and job market’s needs with qualified personnel and expertise. He noted that the Iraqi Media Network is committed to fulfilling its professional responsibilities.
