The thesis included a summary of the points of disagreement among interpreters in a scholarly approach that clarifies for the reader God’s intent in the verse, sparing the need to search through extensive tafsir sources by presenting the meaning of the verse concisely based on valid evidence.
The thesis concluded that Sayyid Abdul A’la Al-Sabzwari made substantial efforts in his interpretation of Mawahib Al-Rahman following a thematic approach. His exegesis is comprehensive, yet he showed a particular brevity and mastery in the interpretation of verses concerning rulings, referring the reader to his book Muhadhdhab Al-Ahkam for further details.
