University of Kerbala Organizes Course on Civil Defense and Natural Disaster Management

University of Kerbala College of Law organized a course on civil defense and natural disaster management, delivered by Colonel Hassanine Hadi Hussein, the Director of the Industrial Safety and Prevention Department at Kerbala’s Civil Defense Directorate.

The course included intensive theoretical and practical lectures on various types of fires, how to handle them, and methods to minimize their danger. It also covered the different types of fire extinguishers, how to use each type, and which ones are suitable for open spaces versus closed areas.

The course aimed to equip the college’s faculty, staff, and students with essential information about the importance of civil defense, the different types of fires, and how to control them and reduce their risks until firefighting teams arrive.
