College of Pharmacy Organizes a Scientific Field Trip to the Pharmaceutical Factory in Samarra
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific field trip for fifth-year students to the Samarra Drug Industries Company, under the supervision of several faculty members.
The trip included visits to key sections of the pharmaceutical factory, such as quality control laboratories, tablet and ointment production lines, and the newly established antibiotic production building. Factory supervisors provided detailed explanations about manufacturing processes and laboratory techniques used in drug analysis, adhering to international pharmacopeial standards.
The visit also featured interactive scientific discussions between the students and factory supervisors. The students raised questions and shared insights that bridged the theoretical knowledge they had learned with the practical applications they observed during the visit.
