Workshop at the College of Pharmacy Highlights the Dangers of Drugs and Ways to Address Them

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Medicinal Plants at the College of Pharmacy organized a workshop titled “The Dangers of Drugs and Ways to Address Them,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Istrak Hussein Nasser, Head of the Department, and Assistant Lecturer Yusra Ali Abdul-Sayed.

The workshop covered the types of drugs, the reasons for their spread, and their negative effects on individuals and society. It also discussed the symptoms exhibited by users and the necessary solutions to reduce this growing phenomenon.

The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness about the importance of combating this scourge, which represents a significant social and economic challenge both in Iraq and globally.
