University of Kerbala Organizes an Educational Workshop on Drugs and Their Impact on Youth

The College of Law at the University of Kerbala organized an educational workshop on drugs and their impact on youth, presented by Professor Hussein Shakir.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the increasing dangers of drugs, their multiple negative effects on individuals and society, and to raise students’ awareness of the risks associated with drug use.

The workshop consisted of three main topics. The first topic addressed the legal dimension of drug-related crimes, focusing on Iraqi laws and regulations regarding drug control. The second topic highlighted the impact of drugs on the professional and occupational behavior of users. The third topic explored the social and familial implications of this menace.

Discussions emphasized the role of drugs in dismantling family relationships and increasing crime and violence rates within society.
