A Student from Kerbala University Wins First Place in the Iraqi University Debate World Cup

Mohammed Ali Hussein Al-Jabri, a student from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kerbala University, secured first place in the second edition of the Iraqi University Debate World Cup. The competition saw the participation of ten private universities from Kerbala Governorate.

The World Cup events featured high-level competition, with students engaging in academic debates addressing vital issues in culture, education, and community development.

Al-Jabri demonstrated exceptional skills in persuasion, analysis, and logical responses, which enabled him to surpass his competitors and claim the top spot.

It is worth noting that the World Cup events were organized by the International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The first stage of the competition was held among students from universities in Kerbala, with the winners advancing to compete at the national level in Iraq, before the finalists participate in the Arab-level competition in Qatar.
