College of Education for Human Sciences Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Role of Educational Institutions in Promoting Leadership
The Department of History at the College of Education for Human Sciences at Kerbala University organized a scientific seminar on “The Role of Educational Institutions in Promoting Leadership – The University of Baghdad as a Model.” The seminar was presented by Dr. Kazem Hassan Jassim and Dr. Falah Hassan Kazar, with the attendance of faculty members and students from the department.
The seminar aimed to introduce the students and attendees to the early beginnings of higher education in Iraq, particularly the reasons behind its establishment, especially the founding of the University of Baghdad in 1956.
The seminar also covered the early development of primary and higher education in Iraq and the initial steps taken to establish universities during the monarchy, particularly after the key factors for their advancement were in place.
