Eight Iraqi Universities Featured in QS Sustainability Rankings 2025
The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 has announced its results, evaluating nearly 1,800 universities worldwide based on a methodology comprising indicators to measure environmental impact (45%), social impact (44%), and governance (10%).
Eight Iraqi universities achieved competitive results in this ranking, led by the University of Baghdad, followed by the Universities of Anbar, Al-Nahrain, Babylon, Al-Mustansiriya, Northern Technical University, Tikrit, and Mosul.
It is noteworthy that more than 100 Iraqi universities and colleges are competing in eight global rankings, positioning Iraq 29th globally for the number of institutions listed in the Times Higher Education rankings and 7th globally in the Times sustainability rankings.
