University of Karbala Organizes Training Course on Teaching Skills for Intern Teachers
The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala organized a training course on the essential teaching skills required for intern teachers. The course was delivered by Professor Sarmad Asadkhan Mohsen, Dr. Alaa Mohammed Abdul Radi, and Professor Kazemiya Abdul Hadi.
The course aimed to familiarize students with the critical teaching skills needed during their teaching internships.
It covered several key topics, including the concept of skills and the necessary competencies for student teachers before, during, and after teaching. These included skills for identifying teaching strategies, managing and controlling the classroom, and planning lessons effectively.
The course concluded with several recommendations, most notably: ensuring that intern teachers learn to develop clear and organized lesson plans, employing diverse teaching strategies to cater to various learning styles, managing classrooms effectively, and utilizing educational technology to enhance learning outcomes.
