For the Sixth Time, the Kerbala International Journal of Modern Science is Crowned as the Best Iraqi Scientific Journal

Continuing its path of excellence, the Kerbala International Journal of Modern Science, published by the University of Kerbala, has been crowned as the Best Iraqi Scientific Journal for the sixth time. This achievement was announced during the Iraqi Science Day event organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Baghdad.

Iraqi academics emphasized that this consecutive accomplishment reflects the journal’s leadership in supporting scientific research and its active role in publishing high-quality studies locally and internationally. They also highlighted that this recognition reaffirms the journal’s prominent status, which was previously acknowledged with a special award from the Iraqi Council of Ministers during the National Employment Day celebration last year.

It is worth noting that this distinction is based on the journal’s adherence to rigorous scientific standards, including metrics such as the Impact Factor and CiteScore, as well as the global geographical diversity of its editorial board, and the contributions of international authors and reviewers.
