University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Seminar on Tracing the Journey of Imam Hussein to Kerbala

The College of Tourism at the University of Kerbala, in collaboration with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, organized a scientific seminar on tracing the journey of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to Kerbala. The seminar featured lectures by the Director of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, Dr. Haider Al-Karbalaei, and Dr. Haider Al-Jawahiri.

The seminar focused on the key archaeological sites discovered in the desert and reviewed the strategic scientific methods employed to trace the stations along this historical route.

Additionally, the seminar included the screening of a scientific documentary showcasing the efforts of the research expedition formed by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research. This mission, which spanned several months, explored and excavated significant landmarks and sites traversed by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his companions on their way to Kerbala.
