Awareness Lecture on the Impact of Social Stigma for Second-Year Students at the College of Pharmacy, University of Kerbala

As part of the activities of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Committee at the College of Pharmacy, University of Kerbala, and within the approved plan for the current academic year, an awareness lecture was organized for second-year students titled “Social Stigma.”

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hussein Abdul Ali and Ms. Zainab Talib Turki, who addressed the negative effects of social stigma on individual behavior within society. The session also included discussions with students, where their opinions and personal experiences with this phenomenon were heard, along with the challenges they face in their academic journey.

The Psychological Counseling Committee emphasized its continuous efforts to find effective solutions to these challenges in order to support students in overcoming difficulties during their educational path.
