Minister of Education Opens the Higher Institute for Judicial Sciences for Graduate Studies
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced the opening of the Higher Institute for Judicial Sciences for Graduate Studies at Al-Nahrain University.
In his speech during the inauguration ceremony, the Minister explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working in a systematic manner, integrating with sectoral institutions to achieve its goals, meet its requirements, and adapt to changes and challenges in order to ensure sustainable education and fulfill responsibilities. He highlighted that the establishment of this type of specialized institute, offering master’s programs in forensic chemistry, forensic engineering, and judicial sciences, will provide students with the opportunity to specialize in key fields that intersect with justice sciences and play a significant role in applying the law and protecting individual and societal rights.
He further noted that the achievements made in the educational institution, under the esteemed Iraqi government, are based on the quality of specialized programs and the positive contributions made by faculty members, as well as the alignment between educational outcomes and developmental needs.
Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, also inaugurated the scientific departments building, classrooms, and the dean’s office of the Higher Institute for Judicial Sciences, and honored a number of academic figures, as well as representatives from security and judicial institutions.
