University of Kerbala Hosts Training Course on Safety and Civil Defense

The Civil Defense Division at the Presidency of the University of Kerbala, in collaboration with the College of Law, organized a specialized training course on “Safety and Civil Defense.” The course was presented by Lieutenant Colonel Maytham Ali Hussein and Major Firas Sadiq from the Civil Defense Directorate in Kerbala.

The course aimed to raise participants’ awareness of safety skills and how to handle emergency situations. It included theoretical lectures and practical exercises on accident prevention mechanisms, fire handling techniques, and evacuation plans during fires. The training aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills to apply safety standards at home and in their workplaces.
