University of Kerbala Organizes a Cultural Festival to Raise Awareness of Ba’ath Party Crimes

The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Kerbala organized the first edition of a cultural festival to raise awareness of the crimes committed by the Ba’ath Party. The event was held in collaboration with the Directorate of Martyrs of Holy Kerbala.

The festival featured several segments, including speeches by the Dean of the College, Dr. Hadi Al-Saidi, the Head of the Geography Department, Dr. Murtadha Al-Maamouri, and a representative from the Martyrs Foundation in Kerbala. Additionally, a documentary film was presented, highlighting the crimes and oppressive leadership of the party.

The festival aimed to emphasize the importance of documenting crimes and violations accurately and reliably to prevent their recurrence in the future.

Furthermore, the event underscored the necessity of learning from that historical period, ensuring it does not return in any form, and countering any attempts to distort historical facts.
