Iraqi and Yemeni Ministries of Higher Education Sign Executive Agreement for 2025–2028

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Iraq and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education, and Vocational Training of the Republic of Yemen have signed an executive agreement for the years 2025–2028.

During a joint press conference with his Yemeni counterpart, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Wosabi, held in Baghdad, Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, stated that the executive agreement includes offering scholarships to Yemeni students at Iraqi universities through the “Study in Iraq” program across various disciplines, as well as exchanging expertise and training programs.

For his part, the Yemeni Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education, and Vocational Training praised the level of cooperation provided by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, highlighting the positive environment for attracting international students through the “Study in Iraq” program and enhancing cultural exchange between the two brotherly countries.
