Visit of Pharmacy Students to Warith International Cancer Treatment Foundation

In a humanitarian gesture that reflects the spirit of social solidarity, Professor Dr. Atheer Majid Rashid, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Haqi Ismail, and Assistant Lecturer Hamas Ahmed Shihab organized a field visit to the Warith International Cancer Treatment Foundation, with the participation of a group of fourth-year students to provide psychological and moral support to children suffering from cancer.

During the visit, the students met with the young patients, engaging in friendly conversations and aiming to bring joy to their hearts through an atmosphere filled with love and hope. They also presented symbolic gifts in an attempt to alleviate their suffering and bring moments of happiness during their challenging treatment journey.

This initiative highlights the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to its humanitarian and social role, and its efforts to instill a culture of giving among students by encouraging them to participate in activities that support those in need.
