University of Kerbala organizes a scientific seminar on the Central Public Library and its prospects

The Women’s Affairs Division at the Presidency of the University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar titled “The Central Public Library: Memory, Reality, and Prospects,” with lectures by Dr. Abbas Obeid Al-Amiri and Mr. Mahmoud Abbas Al-Anbari, the Director of the Central Public Library in Kerbala.

The seminar covered several topics, including a video presentation that highlighted the library, its shelves, and its sections. It also emphasized the importance of libraries and books, the need to preserve them, the achievements and individual efforts made to develop the library, as well as the major obstacles and challenges faced by this cultural institution, including financial issues.
