Faculty of Pharmacy Welcomes Students from Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman School for Gifted Students
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala hosted a group of students from Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman School for Gifted Students, accompanied by the school’s teaching staff, for a scientific visit to the faculty. The students were warmly welcomed by Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Jamal Ali Ashour, Assistant Lecturer Hamas Ahmed Shihab, head of the Arts and Cultural Activities Unit, along with several faculty members.
During the visit, the Assistant Dean delivered a lecture to the students, introducing them to the academic branches of the faculty and its educational system. Following the lecture, the students toured the faculty’s scientific laboratories, where they were provided with detailed explanations about the practical aspects of the education that pharmacy students receive. They also visited the animal house and explored various areas of the faculty.
At the end of the visit, the Assistant Dean offered moral and academic advice to the students, encouraging them to continue their educational journey. He also highlighted the importance of the pharmacy profession in society and the valuable services pharmacists provide to their communities. He emphasized the country’s need for young talents in various specialties and encouraged the students to strive for excellence in order to reach the highest levels.
This initiative aims to encourage students to familiarize themselves with the Faculty of Pharmacy, helping to develop their future talents and scientific skills.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students and teachers of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman School expressed their gratitude to the Dean’s office for providing the opportunity and for the warm reception. They also expressed admiration for the high standard of the faculty and its facilities.
