University of Kerbala Organizes Scientific Seminar on Language and Thought

The Women’s Affairs Division at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar titled “Language and Thought: The Debate of Influence and Priority,” presented by Dr. Rafal Hassan Taha Al-Taie and Dr. Abbas Obaid Al-Amiri.

The seminar covered several topics, including the concepts of thought, thinking, and language, as well as the subtle differences between these concepts. It also explored the ongoing debate regarding the priority between language and thought, presenting various opinions on the subject.

The seminar concluded with the understanding that this debate will continue, as language and human thought are inseparable by nature and cannot be dismissed or separated from one another.
